Limited Contact
Bedding Block
Limited Contact Bedding Block
The limited contact bedding block is designed to contact the action only at the pillar/action screws, and the recoil lug. This means that the bedding block will not place the action in a bind if there are any alignment issues and allow the user to not have to bed their action into the stock. The Bedding Block system features user adjustable pillar heights with a spacers. Users can then adjust +/-.030” in 5 thou increments as needed for bottom metal fitment and magazine feeding. This bedding block system is set-up to fit into any stock and action for a Remington 700 or custom action clone. You will need to mill your stock to accommodate the bedding block and then epoxy it into place.

Picatinny Rail
BiPod Picatinny Rail
Hawkins offers three lengths of bipod picatinny rails to suit your rifle and application. The rails come in 2.0", 3.7", and 4.5" lengths and feature added relief for different stock hole locations. The 3.7" and 4.5" rails also come with a recess for a flush cup sling attachment. All mounting hardware also included.

Action Screws
Hawkins Precision Action Screws are made in our Colorado Springs facility out of 416 stainless. They feature a T27 Torx head and will withstand more than double the suggested 65-in-lb of torque. These action screws are a few threads longer than factory screws to allow gunsmiths to cut them to an exact length. They come in raw stainless or melonite coating for lowered thread friction and added durability.

Hawkins Precision thread protectors are precision machined in our shop in Colorado Springs, CO. They come in a multitude of sizes and thread pitches to fit your needs and feature a melonite coating. This adds durability and creates lowered friction on muzzle threads, which resists galling.

M5 Enchanced Action Screws
Hawkins Precision Enhanced Action Screws are a premium action screw for your custom rifle. They come cut to the exact length for Hawkins Precision bottom metal and pillars so you get the perfect amount of thread engagement every time. These stainless steel action screws are perfectly concentric and come heat treated and melonited to reduce galling upon installation. These are action screws built for high end custom rifles. Engraved line around the head of the screw indicates action length. 1 Line - Long action. 2 lines - short action. 3 lines - Medium action.

Hawkins Precision M6x1 Tikka Action Screws are made from 416 stainless steel and have 4mm Allen wrench head. No more stripping a slotted screw. These screws come nitrided to reduce corrosion and potential galling upon installation.

Hawkins Precision forward DBM picatinny rail is designed for shooters that want the ability to mount their rifle to a tripod without installing an ACRA or picatinny rail directly to their stock. Designed to work exclusively with our M5 DBM bottom metal, the DBM picatinny rail is keyed into the bottom metal and barricade stop with the front action screw to create a solid mounting spot for Tripod shooting.
